Welcome to Homemy ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a positive experience using our AI-powered interior design application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect information about you in a variety of ways:
- Photos You Upload: When you use our app to redesign a room, we process the photos you upload through our AI system. These photos are sent to Google's Gemini AI for processing and are deleted immediately after your design is generated. Photos are not permanently stored on our servers.
- Device Information: We collect a unique device identifier to manage your account, track usage credits, and improve our service.
- Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with our app, including the features you use, designs generated, and time spent in the app.
- Saved Designs: The designs you choose to save are stored locally on your device. If you enable Cloud Sync, designs are also stored in your iCloud account.
- Account Information: If you choose to sign in with Apple, we collect your name and email address (or Apple's private relay email if you choose to hide your email).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain our AI interior design service
- Process your photos through AI to generate design suggestions
- Manage your usage credits and subscription status
- Improve and personalize your experience
- Analyze usage patterns to enhance our app's functionality
- Communicate with you about updates or changes to our service
- Ensure the security and integrity of our service
4. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. Photos uploaded for processing are handled securely and are deleted immediately after the design generation process is complete. However, please be aware that no security measures are perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Third-Party Services
Our app uses the following third-party services:
- Google Gemini AI: We use Google's Gemini AI service to process your photos and generate interior design suggestions. When you upload a photo for redesign, it is sent to Google's servers for AI processing. Google processes this data according to their privacy policy. Photos are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored by Google after generation is complete.
- Apple Services: We use Apple's StoreKit for subscription management and Sign in with Apple for optional account creation. Apple processes this data according to their privacy policy.
We use our own custom analytics system to track app usage. We do NOT use Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, or other third-party analytics services. All analytics data is stored on our own servers.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
- Photos: Photos you upload are processed in real-time for AI design generation and are NOT permanently stored on our servers. Once the design is generated, the original photo is deleted immediately.
- Saved Designs: AI-generated designs you save are stored locally on your device and optionally synced via iCloud if you enable Cloud Sync. You can delete saved designs at any time from the Saved tab in the app.
- Account Data: If you sign in with Apple, your basic profile information (name, email) is stored until you request deletion.
- Analytics Data: Usage data linked to your device ID is retained indefinitely for app improvement purposes, unless you request deletion.
How to Delete Your Data:
- To delete saved designs: Open the app → go to the Saved tab → delete individual designs or clear all
- To request full data deletion: Go to Settings → Legal → Delete Account, or email us at info@homemyai.com
- We will process deletion requests within 30 days
- Important: Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it separately through iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions or visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions
7. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:
- The right to access and receive a copy of your personal information
- The right to request correction of inaccurate personal information
- The right to request deletion of your personal information via Settings → Legal → Delete Account
- The right to object to or restrict processing of your personal information
- The right to withdraw consent at any time by disabling analytics or uninstalling the app
